Class A Commercial Electrical Services

Class A is the highest contractor classification in the Commonwealth of Virginia. It authorizes a contractor to perform commercial work of unlimited value. For commercial electrical specifically, this means we can take on projects of any size, from a single repair to complete commercial building electrical buildouts. Class B and Class C contractors have value caps that limit what they can legally bid on.

Yes. We handle the full permitting process with your local AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction), coordinate inspections, and ensure all documentation is in place for occupancy approval. Permitting is included in every project that requires it, and we never proceed with permit-required work informally.

Yes. Restaurant and retail buildouts are core to our practice. We work with architects, general contractors, and equipment vendors to design and install the full electrical scope including service entry, distribution panels, kitchen equipment power, lighting, signage, and integration with HVAC and refrigeration. Our cross-trade capability means we can also handle the mechanical, refrigeration, and lighting on the same project.

For established customers, we offer 24/7 emergency electrical response across Hampton Roads. Our regular dispatch hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Yes. Hampton Roads has a lot of older commercial buildings with electrical systems that pre-date current code. We handle service upgrades, panel replacements, knob-and-tube remediation, aluminum wiring repairs, and code-compliance updates. Our team is experienced in working with the realities of older buildings while bringing the electrical up to modern standards.
